Moose Lake is the 1st quilt in a series of scenic row quilts designed by Marie Noah, inspired by the Row by Row Experience. Originally created for the 2015 Row by Row theme H2o at Northern Threads, Moose Lake showcases a strip pieced mountain range and trim design. The combination creates the illusion of intricate detail, yet it’s achieved with basic sewing skills. The row can be made without borders, and combined with other row patterns for a larger quilt project, or finished with the border to make a single art quilt. The choice is yours.
What is “Row By Row Experience”
How about this… it’s like a shop hop, but it’s not… no fees, no passports and all summer to play! Simply visit any of the participating shops across the nation and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! The program generally runs from June 21st to Sept 5th each year.

Moose Lake is traditional piecing with fusible applique. Very simple to make. Available in 3 easy options. Finished Size Row Only: 9″ x 36″
