Easy Applique Art Quilts

I’ve given my designs a balanced blend of traditional piecing with applique accents. It feeds my love of piecing and the applique creates the scene to draw viewers in. If you’re ready to take your quilting to the next level, I’ve made it easy for you to recreate my art quilt designs.

Ravenwood was created with the rich colors of a crisp fall morning and features a single large 18 inch block for easy piecing. If you are fairly new to quilting, this project will provide just the right amount of challenge to take you to the next level. I’ve written the pattern with detailed instructions and full color diagrams to guide you through the sewing process. If you choose either the full laser cut kit or even the applique set your time invested will be cut down substantially.

Bear Country was my second published art quilt design released in 2014. This quilt incorporates the bear paw block into the background scenery giving the look of intricate detail, but it’s not at all hard to do. As always this pattern gives detailed step by step instructions to ensure your successful completion.

Have you ever given bargello piecing a try? Northern Lights is the perfect size to learn the technique. It’s simple enough for a beginner and there are no seams to match which means its very forgiving if your accuracy it a little off.

Northern Lights was my first published art quilt design released in 2013. It remains a customer favorite to this date.
